School Rules

SCHOOL RULES

1. Student must carry his/her almanac to school everybody. It must have his/her photograph and identification information complete and signed by parents.

2. Students should come to school cleanly and neatly dressed in full school uniform.

3. Boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals , and sikh boys must wear patka or dastar.

4. Girls should plait their hair into two with ribbons according to the uniform.

5. Students are expected to respect the property o others. This includes respect for school property. No student should damage any school property. Students responsible for the damage done.

6. Playing in class rooms and corridors is strictly prohibited.

7. Students are not to wear any jewellery to school (e.g. chains, rings, bangles, bracelets, etc.). Girls may wear only one pair of ear rings or studs.

8. Sikh children are allowed to wear their kakkar’s because of religious beliefs.

9. Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul languages are punishable offences.

10. As far as possible, once a child has come to school, he/she should not be taken home on half day leave. In an emergency, written permission must be taken from the principal.

11. Students must not miss any teaching / games/ library / activity periods.

12. The school provided education from Nursery to Class X. Therefore, it is expected that the juniors be treated with love and affection by the seniors while the juniors show respect to their seniors.

13. No money collection may be made in school without the prior sanction of the principal.

14. Books, tiffin boxes. Cardigans, Shoes should bear the name of the child (especially junior ones). The school cannot be responsible for the things that are lost.

15. Students, under any circumstances, should not drive down to school. Strict action will be taken against the student violating this rule.

16. It is compulsory to speak English in the school premises.

17. Students are expected to maintain discipline while travelling in the school bus. If found misbehaving, the bus facility will be withdrawn with immediate effect.

18. Absentees will have to pay a fine of Rs. 10/- for each day without leave signed by parents.
